New Addition!

So we've finally added a new little one to our family. I know it's been forever since I've been on here, but I've been a busy mom, wife, and student. Kaelyn is now 2 years old! I still can't believe how fast she's grown. She's definitely a mess and testing me in every way she can.

But we now have added Miss Sophie Isabele. :) She was born on October 24, 2011. She's weighted 7lbs. 14oz. and 20 3/4 in. She was a whole pound bigger than Kaelyn! It was another positive birthing experience, which I'm so grateful for! Jesus has certainly been taking care of me and my family. But Sophie has already reached the 8lbs. and 13oz. She'll go back to the doctor in 2 weeks and we'll see how big she is then. :)

I still can't believe that I'm married and have two children. Sometimes I stop and think at how I still feel like a kid. I love being a mom and wife, but I still feel like I should be in high school and how weird it is that I'm adult now and I'm the one taking care of a family. I mean it was only in 2008 that I was that kid. I know I brought all this on sooner, but it's a weird feeling at time, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love my husband and kids and I fit in the role rather well. I know God is taking care of my family and He has provided for us in every way. I know He's there for me and that He'll take care of us.

But I've finished up my Theological Diploma in Biblical Studies at Liberty and I've now received that diploma. I start my new degree at CVCC in January. I'm kind of excited about it, but it will be in Accounting. I hope that I can do it and that I can enjoy it somewhat. I wanted something to fall back on, just in case I have to look for a job, and I wanted something that I could take online. I also wanted to get the extra money since we need it right now. But I am looking forward to it. I do enjoy learning and feeling like I'm progressing towards something. At least I'll get some kind of schooling.

Shon is looking at getting a promotion soon, well I sure hope its soon, especially since he decided not to do schooling due to the promotion. I'm hoping it comes before Christmas, but in any case I hope we hear about it soon and we can be relieved of the stress and have extra money coming in.

I'm excited about the holiday season! This year it's just Shon and I and the girls. I'm so glad it's just us. I hope we'll be able to do some festivities, but I'm excited for Kaelyn to really get to enjoy it this year! We already have one gift for her, a kitchen playset!

But overall life is great! :D
